My paintings and drawings vary from realistic portraits of faces and hands to the more loosely rendered paintings of images from my subconscious. In these dreamlike works, the symbols and motifs I use are not strictly defined in a universal language but have personal meaning to me. It is not my goal to make a clear statement to viewers but it is my hope they can obtain meaning that is true for them based on their own personal experiences.
